Studio Palette

Frequently Asked Questions

Answers about trial lessons, tuition, materials, class formats, charter vouchers, payments, and enrollment.

What ages do you teach?

Studio Palette offers art classes for children and teens ages 5–18, with groups organized by age and experience level. Classes for adults are also available.

How long is each class?

Each Studio Palette lesson is two hours long. Classes are taught in small groups of 4–6 students so every student can receive individual guidance.

Are art materials included?

Yes. Standard professional art materials needed for the class are included in the tuition, so families do not need to purchase a separate supply list.

Can we book a trial lesson?

Yes. A trial lesson helps the teacher understand the student’s interests, previous experience, and best starting level. A parent or guardian must attend the first visit to complete the required forms.

How much is tuition?

Regular monthly tuition for weekly studio classes is $180. Payment is due in full during the first week of each month. Instruction and standard art materials are included.

Do you accept charter school vouchers?

Yes. Studio Palette is an approved vendor for participating charter schools. Charter-funded classes are billed at $45 per lesson. Please confirm that your school is included in our current vendor list before enrollment.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept cash, Zelle, Venmo, and Cash App. Charter school payments are processed through the school’s approved payment system.

What should we expect at the first visit?

A parent or legal guardian must attend the student’s first visit. The required application and studio agreement are completed at that time, and the teacher evaluates the student’s interests, experience, and recommended starting level.

How do we choose the right class and level?

Start by booking a trial lesson and selecting the student’s main area of interest. After meeting the student and reviewing their experience, the teacher will recommend the most suitable age group, class, and level.
