Studio Palette purchase policy
Workshop Cancellation, Transfer & Refund Policy
This policy applies to one-time Studio Palette workshops and master classes. It explains the purchaser’s cancellation choices, participant transfers, payment-processing costs, and what happens if Studio Palette cancels or materially changes the workshop.
Before you pay
- At least 168 hours before the workshop: choose 100% Studio Credit or an original-method refund less the exact non-refundable payment-processing costs charged to Studio Palette for that transaction and refund. Studio Palette adds no markup.
- Less than 168 hours before the workshop: no monetary refund or Studio Credit for a customer-requested cancellation.
- At any time after purchase and before the workshop starts: you may give or transfer the reservation to another eligible participant. This right does not depend on the 168-hour refund deadline.
- If Studio Palette cancels or materially reschedules the workshop: you choose a full refund of all amounts paid or 100% Studio Credit, with no processing-cost deduction.
1. Scope
This policy applies only to a one-time Studio Palette workshop or master class identified in the order. It does not automatically govern annual programs, memberships, Summer classes, gift certificates, physical goods, or a different event whose checkout displays separate terms.
2. Cancellation at least 168 hours before the workshop
A cancellation request received at least 168 hours (seven calendar days) before the scheduled workshop start time is eligible for the purchaser’s choice of: (a) Studio Credit equal to 100% of the amount paid, with no expiration; or (b) a refund to the original payment method, less only the exact non-refundable payment-processing costs charged to Studio Palette for the original transaction and the resulting refund. Studio Palette adds no markup to that deduction. If the provider does not charge or retain a cost, Studio Palette does not deduct it.
3. Cancellation less than 168 hours before the workshop
A cancellation request received less than 168 hours before the scheduled start time, including a no-show, is not eligible for a monetary refund or Studio Credit. This refund deadline does not limit the purchaser’s separate right to give or transfer the reservation under Section 4 at any time before the workshop begins. Rights that cannot legally be waived remain unaffected.
4. Participant transfers
At any time after purchase and before the workshop starts, regardless of how many hours or days remain and regardless of refund eligibility, the purchaser may give or transfer the reservation once or more than once to another eligible participant at no additional Studio Palette charge. Studio Palette must receive the replacement participant’s information before the workshop starts. The replacement must meet the workshop’s age, safety, prerequisite, and participation requirements, and all required guardian or participant forms must be completed. A reservation may not be resold above the original amount paid. A transfer changes the participant, not the purchaser or the refund deadline.
5. Studio cancellation or material change
If Studio Palette cancels the workshop, moves it to another date, or makes a material change that prevents the registered participant from reasonably attending, the purchaser chooses either: (a) a full refund of all amounts paid, with no processing-cost deduction; or (b) Studio Credit equal to 100% of the amount paid, with no expiration. Payment-processing costs in this situation are Studio Palette’s responsibility. Studio Palette will not replace a requested refund with credit without the purchaser’s agreement.
6. Duplicate, erroneous, or unauthorized charges
No processing-cost deduction applies to a duplicate, erroneous, or unauthorized charge, or when a full refund is otherwise required by law. Please contact Studio Palette promptly so the transaction can be reviewed and handled through the correct payment provider.
7. How to request a cancellation, refund, credit, or transfer
Submit the request through the Studio Palette Contact page or email contact@artstudiopalette.com. Include the order number, purchaser name and email, workshop name and date, participant name, and the requested option. A request is measured from the time Studio Palette receives it, using America/Los_Angeles time. For a transfer, also provide the replacement participant’s information early enough to complete required forms before the workshop starts.
8. Refund method and timing
Approved monetary refunds are sent to the original payment method unless the payment provider requires another lawful method. Provider and bank processing times vary. Studio Palette will confirm when the refund has been submitted but cannot promise the date on which a bank or wallet posts the funds.
9. Agreement and preserved rights
The purchaser must review and affirmatively accept this policy before submitting payment. Studio Palette records the accepted policy version, localized text fingerprint, order, checkout request, and acceptance time. No card number, bank credential, IP address, or browser fingerprint is stored as part of this evidence. This policy does not limit any non-waivable right or remedy under applicable law.
